Jewish community Chabad Lubavitch Moldova

Ilya Reznik, is an accomplished writer, journalist, museum manager and city guide. Born and raised in Kishinev, he was very proud to be Jewish and appreciated Jewish traditions. Passover was one of his favorite holidays and actually he was born on Pesach as well. The Passover poem symbolizes his love and appreciation for this holiday.

My Father a”h wished to be remembered by the photo of him and his parents,Menashe and Khaya Reznik. . They were all born and raised in Kishinev. His Father is buried in Kishinev on Doina Cemetery and my Father and his Mother are both buried in San Diego. My Grandmother, his Mother, passed away 8 months before my Father. When my Father passed away, the cemetery was able to bury him along his Mother and they even have a double monument for both of them. My Father’s legacy continues to live by his children and grandchildren. He will be forever in our hearts. May the soul, Yehuda ben Menashe a”h, have eternal rest and may his memory be blessing for everyone.

Passover was a main Holiday in my childhood. I remember it with the cheerfulness. Please, print my poem with big letters and, if your family agree, put my poem in every Passover on your front door. Keep this in remembrance of my parents.Passover

Think deeply
It is a happiness you live.
Think carefully
It is a happening you create.
Think gratefully
It is the Jewish religion.
Thank God for our existence.
Thank the sun for the light.
Thank the land for the verdure.
Must simply something good make,
Something great do,
Something best execute
Then our ancestors smile:
The Jewish race is developing.
